Like many dog owners, we grew tired of giving our dogs plastic, artificial chews filled with ingredients we couldn’t trust. So we set out to find something better, something natural, long-lasting, and genuinely good for our dogs.
That search led us to the Himalayan region of Nepal, When we discovered they could even transform into a crunchy puffed treat at the end, we knew it was something special worth sharing with owners who truly care about their dogs’ health and want the very best for them like we did.
Yes. Yak chews are a safe, natural chew made with simple ingredients and a traditional curing process. As with any chew, we recommend supervising your dog once the chew becomes small or reaches the final nub.
Authentic Himalayan yak chews are made using just two simple ingredients: Himalayan yak milk and lime juice.
When the chew becomes too small to safely chew, simply soak it in water for 2 minutes, microwave the end piece for about 30–60 seconds and it will puff into a light, crunchy treat your dog will love.
Our yak chews are ethically sourced from Nepal, the Himalayan region where authentic yak chews have been crafted for generations. Using a traditional recipe of Himalayan yak milk and lime juice, each chew is slowly cured to create a natural, premium chew made the way it was always meant to be.
Yak chews are known for being much longer-lasting than most dog chews, making them ideal for dogs that love to chew. Depending on how aggressive of a chewer your dog is, it can last an entire month.
